Carrara – Twenty years of off road. Twenty years of success and winning projects. 

All this is Carrara 4×4 Fest, the IMM Carrara Fiere event that is now reaching the important milestone of twenty editions. This 2022 Edition  also has the important patronage of the Municipality of Carrara and the Tuscany Region.

4X4 Fest is the only event in its area, offering both the most important Off-Road Expo and a wide range of opportunity to visit unique landscapes and historical spots. 

Art and Renascence but also food and wine and fashion, enhancing all its peculiarities. 

The 4×4 Fest is a strategic and important event for our land of Tuscany and for local authorities in terms of tourism potentials: the three days shows is going to welcome visitors and exhibitors from the whole Italy and also many European Countries.

Those who comes to Carrara will be able to discover extraordinary places that are sometimes overlooked in favor of more famous destinations usually at the center of the typical tourist routes.

Starting with Massa and its Palazzo Ducale in Piazza Aranci, in the historical center, also known as Palazzo Rosso, built by Alberico I Cybo Malaspina and later enlarged by Alberico II. 

The city of Lucca with its enchanting squares, walls and access gates, witch is a real jewel of Renaissance art. Hundred churches, towers and bell towers that stand out along the cobbled streets of the small town. 

In the Lunigiana area , halfway between Liguria and Tuscany, there are some of the most beautiful  Italian medieval villages: the name of this area comes from the ancient Roman city of Luni which is located at the mouth of the Magra river a short distance away from Sarzana, which 4×4 lovers will get to know well in those days for its off-road tracks.

Also part of these villages is Colonnata immersed in the Apuan Alps known for some special ham (Lardo di Colonnata) and also for the marble quarries.

For beach lovers the whole Carrara surrounding also  offers the beauties of Versilia with Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio, two towns known all over the world for peacefulness, great food, shopping and clubs. Pietrasanta, Luni and Bocca di Magra are just other examples of the wealth of these lands with their museums, art galleries, churches as well as the Cinque Terre, defined by the English poets as the eighth wonder of the world.

Lerici with its magnificent gulf of La Spezia, from a visit to the Castle to be reached by a nice walk among the alleys.

A stroll in the Shelley park or in the village of Tellaro, while at sunset, at dawn or during the days of October, these enchanted places offer unique emotions.
