The spectacular new outdoor track makes its debut! Action, speed and extreme off-roading: 25 truckloads of materials, monumental structures including the return of the famous bridge, a water crossing and technical obstacles designed to thrill drivers, spectators and off-road enthusiasts alike.
MARINA DI CARRARA, Italy – Excitement is running high across the exhibition halls and outdoor areas of CarraraFiere as the new outdoor track at 4×4 Fest 2026 makes its debut. Designed and built by ASI Fuoristrada, the track is a remarkable combination of engineering and entertainment, created to challenge top-level competition drivers while offering visitors the chance to experience the thrill of off-roading through test drives.
A spectacular course for every driving style
Designed by Roberto Martini, Head of ASI’s Off-Road Sector, together with his team comprising Simone Mansueti and Mario Milone, the track features several sections and challenging routes, combining adrenaline-pumping action with safety.
- High-speed track and gravel rally course: a high-speed outdoor circuit where top drivers take to the track alongside gravel rally cars, lightweight vehicles and roaring buggies.
- Extreme trial and technical obstacles: dedicated sections for tubular-frame prototypes and heavily modified off-road vehicles, featuring articulation (twist) obstacles, log sections, rock climbs, a side-slope section and a seesaw obstacle.
- The return of the bridge and the water crossing: among the most eagerly anticipated attractions are the imposing bridge and the spectacular water-crossing pool, both custom-built with technical support from R-Team.
- Experience zones and easy off-road routes: courses designed to allow even standard production vehicles and recreational 4x4s to experience the excitement of off-road driving.

“We have created a track that offers something for everyone, from extreme off-roading to high-speed action,” said Roberto Martini. “We are fortunate to welcome some outstanding drivers and champions competing in gravel rallies and buggy events. The purpose-built obstacles have been arranged to deliver different kinds of action: on one side, extreme challenges for prototypes; on the other, modified off-road vehicles built for speed on dirt. We are delighted to have brought back the famous Ponte Alto bridge, built the water-crossing pool and added a few other fun challenges to put just about everyone to the test.”
Martini also highlighted the impressive logistical effort behind the project, which was completed in record time:
“The new track was strongly championed by Daniele Caldana of Tirreno Trade. It was first designed on paper, combining ingenuity and a touch of extravagance, working alongside Simone Mansueti and Mario Milone. The work involved a huge logistical effort: no fewer than 25 fully loaded articulated lorries carrying materials and equipment were needed!
“Special thanks go to ASI Nazionale – its President, Vice-President and Secretary General – for their tremendous support, as well as to R-Team for its invaluable assistance in supplying and assembling the structures. We would also like to thank co-organiser Tirreno Trade Srl and Daniele Caldana for their strong belief in this project.
“Despite the challenging weather during the construction phase, we worked around the clock with bulldozers and excavators to deliver an outstanding new attraction to CarraraFiere and all our visitors. Off-road sport really is for everyone!”
