Tour of the White Carrara Marble Quarries

From Ponte di Ferro to Miseglia, from Ponti di Vara to the Vecchia Stazione di Ravaccione, with a stop at the spectacular Fantiscritti Quarry and a tasting of local products.

The tours of the White Carrara Marble Quarries were the absolute highlights and the most appreciated moments.

Over 50 provinces were represented by the participants in the Marble Quarry Tours: 67% of the participants came from outside Tuscany, with Emilia Romagna, Lombardy, and Piedmont leading the way. The allure of the White Carrara Marble Quarries also drew people from Southern Italy (Campania and Puglia) and the islands.

Beach Fun – 20° Memorial A.C. Bartoletti
15-16 October 2022

Starting with the free trials on Saturday and continuing on Sunday with the 4 heats, eliminations, and final stages, Beach Fun attracted a large audience to Marina di Carrara’s beach, who eagerly watched the spectacular performances of the drivers in off-road vehicles, SSVs, and ATVs.

The winner of the Beach Fun Trophy was Roberto Falanga aboard his Can-Am.

As always, the event was characterized by a significant element of solidarity, and this year’s donation went to the ALDI Onlus (Lunigianese Association for the Disabled) to support the “Dopo di Noi” project, which involves creating a home for five disabled individuals who are without family support.

Test Drive on the Track and on the Beach

Speaking of unique experiences that don’t come around every day, thanks to 4×4 Fest Experience, enthusiasts had the opportunity to drive their own 4×4 vehicles on a track equipped with four different levels of difficulty – the Test Area M.C. Bartoletti in Sarzana – and even take a spin on the beach.

The Sarzana track, with its 18,000 square meters and four levels of difficulty – SUV, Soft, Medium, and… HARD – was a true playground for off-road enthusiasts.

And the beach track? Well, what can we say… if it’s called Sand Emotion, there must be a reason!

4×4 Fest Rally

The multi-brand 4×4 Fest rally, which took place on Sunday, October 16th, was a sold-out success. It covered a route of approximately 80 kilometers through some of the most picturesque locations in the Apuan Alps.

It was a captivating off-road experience with off-road vehicles and historic vehicles, allowing participants to discover exceptional landscapes that only the extraordinary setting of the Apuan Riviera can offer.

Marble Bike Tour 4×4 Fest

Finally, one of the most highly anticipated novelties, the Marble Bike Tour, turned out to be another great success.

Pedal enthusiasts, including some from abroad, gathered at CarraraFiere with their mountain bikes or e-bikes and enjoyed a 50-kilometer route around Carrara.

Gudrun Platzl, an Austrian from Innsbruck who loves both two wheels and nature, wanted to share: “I couldn’t miss this event; nowhere else can I go from the sea to the marble quarries in just a few kilometers.”
